There are a vast number of consensus test methods that have been developed and published by various industry groups such as ASTM, ISO, USP, AOC, JEDEC, etc. These methods are useful because they provide a template for performing the analysis, and ensure that the results obtained by different labs will be comparable. They can also be helpful even when not directly applicable to a given material since they can provide a starting point for how to perform an analysis.
In many cases, the test methods have been written, but no labs are easily found that can perform the method. This may be due to the age of the method, relative lack of use, or the only lab that did the analysis going out of business, but if you are a vendor and the contract with your customer requires that your product be tested to a specific test method then finding a lab that can perform that method can be crucial.
When we add a new lab to our database we always poll them for any test methods that they can offer. The tabs below list all of the test methods supported by our partner labs, or you can enter the test method you seeking in the search box below and confirm that we can offer that test.
If your method does not show a positive response, we encourage you to still submit it below. We can check with our labs that perform similar methods and determine if they might be able to add this method to their capabilities. We also have years of experience searching for hard-to-find tests, and we may be able to find a helpful lab or university that can do what is needed.
